Course Contents
An offering of the City Center University Library
If you and your collegues are interested in English speaking offerings, feel free to contact us (by e-mail).
We provide an English version for you, minimum number of participants: 8
Part 1: Copyright Law and CC Licenses
The first part of the course focuses primarily on copyright law. Along a relatively simple model, questions regarding limitations and licenses - such as Creative Commons - then almost naturally arise.
Offer on request.
Part 2: Creative Commons "in the field".
The second part practically addresses the question of how to properly reference works with Creative Commons licenses and legally use others' CC-licensed works. Disclaimer: This course is a media education offering - legally "without guarantee".
Registration for Part 2 is available on request.
Additional Session for Questions and Reflection
In past courses, it has been shown that many questions arise during the initial attempts, and it is worthwhile to refresh the topic with some distance.
Therefore, we offer a session for follow-up communication - also for individuals who participated in previous courses. Feel free to bring specific questions and projects!
